Word Art Wednesday #242-#243

Hello friends!

Hope you're having a great summer! It's a gorgeous evening here. The mister and I just got back from a nice bike ride, something we haven't done too much of lately. We rode up past our church, down to a local park and then sort of took the long way home. All in all we probably rode about 3 miles. That's pretty good considering that I'm still getting my energy back after an illness from a few weeks back. God is so good! I'm thankful to be this far.

I really enjoy card challenges. I try to work on a couple every week along with some crafting for charity things that I do. Today I worked on the Word Art Wednesday challenge. There are always so many beautiful cards there and each post has a wonderful devotion in addition to the lovely word art. Sometimes I like to go just to read the devotional, even if I don't make a card.

I've been trying to use up paper that I've had for awhile, although I confess, I did buy a few new paper packs for fall and winter. Everyone needs a craft stash, right? The red section of paper on this card is a piece from the Yuletide Package of CTMH paper from awhile back. I had about enough for the card and an identical one and that's it!

My main element for this card is the frame for the scripture verse. This is from the Silhouette Studio and is called "Ornate Frames" and is cut at about 4" x 3.5". I did print and cut for the Word Art Wednesday verse. This is one of my favorite features of Silhouette! I feel like it could use a little embellishment, I just haven't found one yet.

This card is for my personal use and I think it's a good one for when we need to send a note of encouragement to either ladies or guys. Hope you'll stop over at Word Art Wednesday and take a look at all the beautiful inspiration.

Well that's it for today. Thanks so much for stopping by today and we'll see you next time. Have a blessed week!
