"Stretch Your Imagination" Thank You Card

Good morning! It's beautiful morning here and I was just enjoying all the sunshine and bird song over a cup of coffee. I wanted to take a quick moment, though, to share a card I made that uses a little bit of mixed media.

One day while playing with my Cricut, I cut out these little trees with the "Stretch Your Imagination" cartridge and just a funky shape cut from the green dot paper. I put them together and wasn't even sure what I was going to do with them, so they sat here for a few weeks.

I stumbled across them again, on my quest to find something else, and decided I needed to do something with them. I love to experiment, so I got out some watercolor and made a little background. It's a couple simple washes and not too perfect really. I did a few strokes with a watercolor pencil and added a few red dots for my little flower bed. The background is from the DCWV Every Day Essentials paper pack that I picked up for 60% off.  Wow! Right?

Seems we always need Thank You cards, so I stamped it with a "Thank You".

I really enjoy Word Art Wednesday's Family Friendly challenges so I'm sharing with them today. Thank You for stopping by and have a wonderful and blessed day!
