Really Reasonable Ribbon: Challenge 117

Good morning! Hope all the moms out there had a beautiful Mother's Day.

After church services, my boys and youngest daughter were all here and we had a nice lunch with chicken alfredo, fresh asparagus from our garden and rhubarb crumble for dessert. Later we played a little Apples to Apples. Nice day all the way around.

Today is a sort of rainy day, so in between spending time with my grandsons, I decided to work on a card for the Photo Inspiration Challenge from Really Reasonable Ribbon. There are so many beautiful cards in the link-up, but with the little guys here I needed a simple project.

I was inspired by the garden and the pink and white flowers in the photo. It's such a happy and welcoming garden scene that I decided my A Happy Hello stamp for the sentiment. The butterfly was cut out on the Cricut and was looking a little plain. I sponged a little Versa Mark on the edges with a Q-Tip and heat embossed with silver embossing powder. I added a little colored bling to make him stand out a bit more. The pink polka dot ribbon is from the April club assortment.

Well, I guess that's all for now. Enjoy today and see you next time!
