OWH Sketch Challenge 249

My grand boys really love a certain brand of teddy crackers, which really hasn't a whole lot to do with paper crafting until I discovered that it is almost perfect for 3x5 cards. So I decided to cut it down and cover it with patterned paper. I think my family was probably wondering why in the world I was saving this box. I already have enough clutter in the little corner where I keep my craft stuff. (Reminder to self-Organize craft area)

I want to stamp a little panel for the front. But even though it isn't finished, I've already put it to use. I like to make cards for Operation Write Home, something I haven't done for awhile. My goal is to fill it with cards to send for our military people to send to
                                                      loved ones.

We've had some busy weekends with basketball tournaments, and my little grand boys keep me busy during the week, but I did get to sit down and make some cards over the past weekend.

This one for Sketch Challenge 249 is one of my favorites. The little bird and feather stamps come from the Happy Birds set that I just got from Close to My Heart. The patterned papers are from the Whimsy Assortment.

I think it could be used for Mother's Day, don't you? Moms are special! I think I'm going to make this card for my daughters for Mother's Day too.

Well, thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a wonderful day!

Connie, So glad to hear you liked this week's sketch. One thing's for sure -- you used it to make one lovely card. This pretty card would be perfect for one of our hero's moms. Thanks so much for playing along with our OWH Sketch Challenge. :)
