Snowflake Christmas Card

Merry Friday! I know, we aren't even to Thanksgiving yet. With the weather turning colder in our part of the country, I feel like winter is already here.

It's been a few weeks since I was at the Joann store in town and picked up "Snowflakes" patterned paper by Paper Pizazz. I have this infatuation with patterned paper and the blue along with the snowflakes jumped right out at me. But as often happens, I get home, and I'm not sure what to do with it.

Today was the day though. I finally figured it out. I cut out 3x4 inch pieces, backed it with a plain blue and it was ready for my card. I did a white on white background which I embossed with the Cuttlebug and a Darice embossing folder that I've been wanting to use.

I cut the word JOY with my Cricut, along with the snowflake and a one inch circle. After goofing around with my little "Christmas" tag and it's placement, I think I finally have it.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend and we'll see you next week!
